Are you between the ages of 15 and 22 years and have a business or project that is up and running, which cuts across any field such as arts and culture, civil society or science and technology? Then this is for you.
African Leadership Academy (ALA) and the MasterCard Foundation have announced that applications are currently been invited from young social and business entrepreneurs, for the Anisha Prize 2015 award, which will close on April 15.
The Anzisha award is an event that seeks to reward young entrepreneurs who have developed and implemented innovative solutions to common challenges or implemented effective businesses within their communities. 12 finalists selected from the continent will win an all-expense paid trip to South Africa –part of week-long entrepreneurship workshop and conference on the campus of ALA- and a $75,000 cash funding will be shared among the grand prize winners.
The Anzisha Prize is managed out of African Leadership Academy’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership, established through a multi-year partnership with the MasterCard Foundation. Through it, organisers seek to catalyse innovation and entrepreneurship among youth across the continent.
